Our Story
It was unpredictable and difficult, then Covid came. So we can easily call the beginning of our love story…LOVE IN THE TIMES OF COVID.
In October 2019 we met at Marco and Ana Maria’s wedding in Timisoara.
For me, Oliver, dancing with Adela was a sensation of perfection.
For me, Adela, it was an instant and unavoidable pull.
From that moment forward, of our first encounter (actually the second one, because our first sight was when we were children, in 1992) it was 2 years of long distance courtship that was made exponentially more difficult by the Covid 19 pandemic. Between December 2019 and August 2020 we could not be physically together at all. These difficulties only made our love and determination stronger and brought us closer together.
After countless hours of travel research, a heartbreaking flight rejection in Frankfurt for Adela, a perilous journey through Serbia and Turkey, and endless travel misinformation in the age of Covid, Adela finally made it to the US for the second time in August 2020. From then on, we saw each other in Dubai, Amsterdam, Romania two times and the US until Adela officially moved to the States in January 2022 on a K1 visa. We oficially married on 2nd January 2022 and we can’t wait to party with you, dear friends and family, in our home country, Romania.

About The Event
We Hope You Can Come
We wanted to create a wedding that was befitting of our lifestyle. We knew we could not spend just one night with so many of our dearest loved ones, so we decided to book this hotel for the entire weekend, 2 nights, for all of our guests. We took care of both the accomodation and meals for all of our guests, from 9th September afternoon til 11th September lunch time. So all you have to do is just show up and take the time to relax, dance, eat, drink and share stories. We have specifically made this event small and intimate, we hope everyone can make new friends and memories of a lifetime.
Sinaia is where I asked Adela to marry me at Peles castle in February 2021. It is also the place where Adela’s parents got married and one of the most beautiful cities in Romania. This is why we chose this lovely location.

The party will take place at Hotel Marea Neagra – Calea Codrului 8, Sinaia 106100, Romania
Please arrive between 3 to 5 PM Friday September 9th. Celebrate with us until Sunday September 11th at 1 PM. Wedding celebration is on Saturday September 10th starting aroung 5 PM.
Itinerary / Sugested program:
Friday evening starting 7.30 max. 8 pm till 10 pm – dinner with all guests ( it’s Adela’s father’s birthday, so there is extra reason to celebrate !!! )
Saturday morning/day: Breakfast from 8.30 am to 9.30 am, after that, Peles Castle visit from 10 am to 11.30 am and after that free time or hair/makeup/preparation for the wedding day
Saturday evening from 7 pm…till probably early Sunday morning 🙂 wedding party
Sunday 10.30 am – 12.30 noon: Brunch with all our guests and check out preparations
